Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup dark chocolate cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate chunks I used Trader Joes Belgian Milk Chocolate (Plus more for sprinkling on top)
  • 16 Halloween Oreos crushed (plus more for sprinkling on top)
  • Halloween Sprinkles
  • Candy eyeballs/ Sprinkle eyeballs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together sugars, butter, and vanilla. Add the eggs, one at a time. Then gradually stir in the flour/cocoa mixture. Fold in the chocolate chunks and Halloween Oreos. Save a few chocolate chunks and Oreos for sprinkling on the tops of the cookies after they come out of the oven.
  3. Use a tablespoon or cookie dough school to scoop the dough and place 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. I like to make about 18 larger cookies, which comes to about 3 cookie dough scoops each. For these larger cookies, only put 6 on each pan. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes and top with the remaining chocolate chunks, Halloween Oreos, Halloween Sprinkles, and eyeball candies. Let cookies cool for about 10 minutes on the baking sheet. Enjoy!
